教育現場で 悲鳴を聴く
生徒は 先生の要求に堪えられず…
先生は その生徒の態度に 疲弊する…
Lately, we hear many conflicts in many educational places:
students can’t stand the teacher’s demands
and teachers get bewildered by the student’s attitudes…
そこには 先生と生徒の目標の違い
いやそれ以前の… 価値観の違いがあるようだ
Overall, teacher’s aims are different from the student’s.
Before that, their thoughts differ markedly.
まず 「こういう学びを得よう♫」と 課題を共有しているか？
「こういう関係を 一緒に築いていこう♫」
「こういう活動を 一緒にしよう♫」
生徒も納得した上でなら 惜しみなく 挑戦していく!!
これは 学校でのワークショップで わたしが常に感じている
First, do you all share the aims: “what lessons to take”,
“what relations to build” and “on what you work together“?
By mutual consent, students can act more generously!!
This is what I always witness in schools (as a workshop facilitator).
しかしもう 「個の努力」を偏重する時代は 終わった
「がんばれ！」は 以前ほど もてはやされない
今は 「個の適性」を重んじる時代だ
「あなたの特性は何？」 そこに合わせて働く（働いてもらう）
What is more, the era of emphasising “individual effort” is over.
“Try hard!!” is no more popular like before.
Now is the era of regarding “individual aptitude” high, instead.
“What are you apt at?” Working in the right place is desirable for all.
それぞれのやりかたで それぞれの専門を磨く
だからこそ お互いを補うチームワークが必要となる
In each way, each individual cultivates the talent.
So, we need teamwork to compensate for one another’s weakness.
とてつもないコミュニケーション力が 両者に必要になる
それも今までの 一律に育てられた者どおしのとは 全く違う…
本当に「個」を重んじ 「個」を生かすための環境が 実際はまず要る
旧態依然のままでは とても難しいだろう
それが 今の教育現場の苦しみのように 想える
This means, terrific communication is required for both
and it’s never made before by the people educated in a pack…
In effect, above all, a certain ground for “individuality” must be ready.
In old style… it’s so unlikely to happen.
The above present issues in education seem like the outcomes.
ただ… これを望んだのは 今のおとな達だ
Though… this trend was designed by us, the present adults.
既に専門家である者たちが 寄り合い 支え合おうとしても
それぞれの立場や見解の相違で なかなか「チーム」になれなかった
そんな組織環境では 「個」は開花する前に… 潰された
縦割りの枠を超える大変さを 嫌になるほど味わい
だから「チーム教育」を 話し合いの学習を
幼いころから体験させ 横のつながりを生んでいるのでは？
When specialists tried to get together and collaborate,
they found difficulty in becoming a “team”.
Each position and standpoint in striking contrasts didn’t allow it.
In such work environment, “individuality” is also nipped… in the bud.
People were overwhelmed by being vertically divided
and to make more contact in society, decided to give the children
“team education”, the discussion based learning. Didn’t we?
しかも同時に 未だ何者にもなっていない「個」も認めるように…
つまり ある種の専門家どうしの問題ではなく
経験者と未熟な者との間でも 対等な関係を築くことを尊重するようにした
At the same time, we admitted any “individual” on the table.
So, not only among specialists, but also between them and the learners,
in great esteem, we should hold any relation created equal.
こう書けば 至極 当然で美しいこと
（そして真実 そうだと想う）
だが実際は 非常に困難を極めている… なんでかな？
In this note, it sounds simple virtue to keep. (And, it is indeed.)
But in reality, it’s not done so easily. Why?
個人的には 「我慢」とか「選択の自由」とか
どれか１つが正しいのではなく どれも大切なことだと…
極端な批判から 教育改革をしていくのには 辟易する
それぞれの良さも ちゃんと見極めた上で
必要な変化を ゆるく 朗らかに!! 行っていこう
Personally, we believe all matters are important,
not only one of those like “endurance” and “freedom of choice”.
We’re fed up with any educational reforms
from one extreme to the other in a critical point of view.

On it, we make necessary changes gently and cheerfully.
何か 時代のスピードが速まることに 合わせ
現場環境の基盤が変わらないまま 強引に意識改革が先行している
その歪みが 生徒も先生も飲みこんでいる… ような…
In the speed of this era, our minds are forced to shift rapidly.
Nevertheless, the social bodies are not settled in that way.
The gap exhausts both students and teachers… disappointingly.
