どんなワークも どんなにわからないことも
手間暇かけて やる意味がわかる♫
In workshop, we can learn
any work or any mysterious matter in life
is worth time and effort♫
テクノロジーの発展とともに
手間暇かけることが削がれ 効率化が進む
だけど 「手間暇ってえぇな」って想う
Along the development of technology,
we reduce time to work and seek more efficiency in life.
Though, we still respect “productive hours”.
そこに愛を感じるから
‘Cause we feel love there.
機械で切られ 整然と袋に入るサラダの葉たちより
１葉１葉 手でちぎられた菜っぱの やさしい歯ざわり♫
ちょっと苦くても 身体が喜ぶのがわかる♫
My body and soul are glad to gain fresh leaves, even bitter
each torn by hands♫ They touch us gently♫
It never happens with salad leaves cut and packed by machine.
確かに 手づくりだったら
すべてに愛があるか… と言えば 否である
機械的に作業されたものもある
But unfortunately, It’s true
that all handmade are not with love.
Some are made mechanically.
手づくりチョコより ショコラティエの作品に
惹かれることも… 正直 ある
And to be frank, we sometimes prefer
chocolatier’s works to homemade chocolates.
手のぬくもりが 苦手なひともいる
おばあちゃんの ころっとしたおにぎりより コンビニのが流行る
Some even hesitate to receive the warmth of hands.
Convenience store’s rice balls are more eaten
than an old lady’s lovely shaped ones.
だけどやっぱり…
真心こめて 手間暇かけられたものは
そこはかとない ぬくもりがある
その場で感じられなくとも
年月を超え 記憶に残るぬくもりがある
Yet… a product sincerely made with much time and effort
gives us a faint touch of warmth.
Even when you cannot feel it on the scene,
over time, the warmth remains and grows in you.
その愛は 実は圧倒的で
決して テクノロジーでは代用できない
便利なものは 便利なだけ*
The love is actually overwhelming
and no technology can be a substitute for it.
Convenient items are rather short lived.*
残るのは 真心だ
What’s left in you is the soul.
これは アートについても言える
アートなんて 手間暇の産物だ
だけど その手間暇が そこに込めた想いが
人生に ものすごく大きな意味を成す
This is said in arts, too.
Art products are time and energy consuming.
But, the effort and passion for work
enrich your life to a large extent.
そのときは なんだかよくわからなくとも
その「今」が 未来につながっている
That moment you may be puzzled.
Nevertheless, the “present” for certain makes future.
*これは テクノロジー批判ではない
テクノロジーを使うのがどうのこうのではなく
使うにしても そこにどう愛が関わるか
*This is NOT a criticism of technology.
Whether you use technology is not a matter.
It’s if your love stays in use yet.
子どもがひとり 夕飯を作らなければならないとき
カップヌードル１つか 先のサラダパックをわざわざ付けるか
そこには 子どもの健康を想う 親の愛が働いている
想いやりの 手間暇がかかっている
When a child needs to make a supper alone,
wouldn’t it be a good idea to add
the above mentioned salad pack to Cup Noodles?
Minding child’s health is parental love,
a gracious attitude over trouble.
ただ残念ながら テクノロジー生活に浸るほど
そんな手間暇の裏にある想いを 忘れているよう… ラクが勝って…
だからこそ より「真心」を大事に!!
Though, it’s a real shame that
into a technology life, people tend to lose the heart…
as a time and energy saving life feels easier…
So!! let’s treasure our “sincerity” more.
