Silence holds the space
a moment before creative spirits arrive.
ワークショップで 協働制作をしているとき
全員の 手も口も止まることがある…
During a co-creative time in a workshop,
occasionally all of our hands and mouths stop…
「ここまでかな…」と想いつつ
何かそこに足りない氣がしていると 誰かが蠢く
それに呼応するように また全体が動く
That time, I a facilitator sense something not there yet
but also think “Is this all now… ?”.
Though eventually, a person begins to tackle it,
which intrigues the others and moves the whole group again.
そこからの展開が 実におもしろい♫
見えなかったけど そこにあったものが 現れて来る!!
The work from there is very interesting♫
as you can see what you couldn’t but has been in us!!
あの「間（ま）」は とても大事
That “pause” is so essential.
沈黙のすき間を埋める 必要はない
飽きたのではなく むしろ 興味を持って観ているのだ
そこに必要な もののイメージがあがってくるのを
静かに 待っているのだ
We have no need to fill the silent gap.
It’s not caused by attention loss, but more curiosity.
We quietly wait for a vision appearing there.
創造の現場は にぎやかでうるさく そしてしんとしている
Creative spots are loud, noisy and quiet.
