Education makes the nation.
ニュースで 日本の教育のもろさを聴く
On news, I heard about the errors of our education.
ひととの競争では 学力の底上げはできない
それより 自己目標を立てさせ
そこへの達成を経験させていくこと
Competition doesn’t raise the standard.
Rather, why don’t we set every personal target
by ourselves, and head to attain it?
アート制作は まさに「自分」とのやりとりだ
Artwork provides us with the time for “ourselves”.
ひとの腕に嫉妬することもあるが
そんなこと*をしても 「自分」の制作は進まない
*比べる美術は LOVEACEはしない
Sometimes, other’s good piece evokes jealousy from you.
But, it* doesn’t help you go ahead to “your” goal.
*LOVEACE has no interest in such competitive artwork.
きちんと 自分の「したい」イメージを持ち
それを具現化するために もがいてこそ 作品はできる
Image clearly what you “want” and embody it.
Struggle becomes spice to the piece.
違ったら また創り直したらいい
When you don’t like it, try it again.
そんな感覚を知ることが 学びの基礎となる
そして知るほどに 学びを続けたくなる
Acquiring the senses is the foundation of learning.
And as you get them, you love learning more.
